Red Dead Redemption 2 Sees Big Sales Boost On PC Thanks To Steam Launch
Is Red Dead Redemption 2 continuing to sell? How’s it doing on PC?
A big storyline in 2019 was how Red Dead Redemption 2 was coming to PC, and in December, the PC version got a big boost in sales thanks to the games arrival on Steam. This news comes from GameIndustry.biz, who noted:
“Finally, on PC, Red Dead Redemption 2 cracked the top 10 thanks to its Steam launch, with the game as a whole nearly doubling its digital unit sales revenue from 406,000 units in November to one million in December.”
It will be curious to see how the January game numbers for the title compare to its December numbers, and if the Steam sales continue to carry the PC version. The console was a major hit when it released in 2019, selling over 17 million units before the end of the year.
