New Watch Dogs 2 Gameplay Video Reveals Multiplayer Madness
Ubisoft released a new Watch Dogs 2 gameplay video this morning. Some of it is that single-player mode that still needs work, but a LOT of the mutiplayer mode was revealed today and it’s nuts. We still can’t tell you for certain if Watch Dogs 2 will be an improvement over Watch Dogs 1, but what we see here looks promising.
The mode spotlighted in this video, “Bounty,” sounds pretty novel. If you commit a crime in the Watch Dogs 2 world, the cops will come after you….but they may not be AI! Your friends can join the game as members of the police force and earn goodies for hunting you down; up to three can join the match and come after you. Survive that mess, and the spoils are yours. But if you’re caught, they get ’em.
Also in the video is a taste of the co-op mission mode, which we saw a bit of at E3. One player tries to sneak through an area without being detected, while his friend pilots a drone and gets rid of the security in his way.
Watch Dogs 2 will be released November 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
