First Trailer For BBC’s “Game Changers” Movie Now Watchable
Despite the best efforts of Rockstar and its parent company Take-Two Interactive to shut it down, the BBC’s upcoming movie “Game Changers” starring Daniel Radcliffe is still on track to be released, and now that there’s a trailer, it seems there’s little anyone can do to stand in its way at this point.
Radcliffe plays Sam Houser, president and co-founder of Rockstar Games, who squares off against incompetent anti-videogame lawyer Jack Thompson (played by Bill Paxton) over the future of their new hit game franchise. What Rockstar and Take-Two aren’t happy about is that the entire movie is pretty much unauthorized. They were never consulted on the accuracy of any of the content, so if you wind up checking this out on Netflix (assuming they still run movies by the time this one comes out), keep in mind the “Game Changers” version is history is going to be a tad glossy.
Now without further ado, the trailer. “Game Changers” will make its world broadcast premiere September 15th at 9 PM on BBC Two.
