TT Isle Of Man: Ride On The Edge Presents: The Rush

on

How do you simulate one of the most challenging motorcycle races on the planet? Only the best riders in the world can take it on in real life…but can you?

We’re talking about the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race, the longest motorcycle track in the world. It takes contestants through over 250 tight turns and narrow openings, and sometimes even runs through villages (look out, lady!) Making the winners circle requires an average speed of 190 miles an hour.

Publisher Bigben and developer Kylotonn took it upon themselves to create an exact copy of the Isle of Man in video game form. Titled TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge, the game is nearly complete and Kylotonn shared its work in a new trailer.

Recreating the Isle of Man was about as easy as racing it, but the developer had input from people who had really been in this race. John McGuinness, has biked the TT Isle of Man 73 times and won 23 of them, and he was impressed by the end result of Kylotonn’s work. “The gameplay is astounding!” says McGuiness. “This title is without a doubt one of the most impressive motorcycle simulations I’ve ever played.”

Is it hype, or will TT Isle of Man knock your socks off too? We’ll find out this March when the game is released for Playstation 4, XBox One and PC.
