Project Cars Sells Over One Million Copies

on

Project Cars, which began its life as a Kickstarter game, can now be considered a bonafide success. It’s popular with critics and gamers alike. And as of this week the racer has sold over one million copies around the world.

Ian Bell, head of the development studio that created the game, Slightly Mad Studios, released this statement upon the occasion: “To now stand here having reached over a million players in such a short time really justifies the work both the team and the community have done over the years and solidifies Project Cars’ future as the multi-platform racing experience of choice for fans around the world. And we’ll be talking more about that future very, very soon.”

Project Cars is currently out for Playstation 4, XBox One and PC. If you’re still waiting for the Wii U version, you should probably stop (it hasn’t been officially cancelled yet, but come on).
