New Social Trailer for Ubisoft’s The Crew

This slick new trailer from Ubisoft shows off the social and racing MMORPG elements of The Crew, including demonstrations of people creating, joining, and leaving crews and some visualizations of how crews will take on missions together.

Judging from the video it seems like joining up with crews and leaving them will be a casual, no-pressure experience, not like an MMO where you have to promise your guild a pint of your blood and every Friday night for a year. That in and of itself is probably a relief to people who were scared off by Ubisoft’s insistence on calling the game a racing MMORPG.

The Crew will be out Nov. 11 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and PS4. There’s a console beta coming up later this month that you can sign up for here.
