Nearly 700,000 Have Petitioned for GTA V on PC
The Change.org petition for Grand Theft Auto V on PC has, at this writing, 690,469 supporters, and rising, but there is still no concrete word on a PC version.
Many people are expecting the massively successful open-world game on PC this year, where modding communities are practically drooling to get their hands on it, as the petition points out.
“Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people’s lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have,” the petition reads.
GTA IV was released, by contrast, 217 days after the console release. But despite repeated rumors, Grand Theft Auto V has now gone 216 days without even an official PC announcement.
Gamespot is reporting that some are speculating the game might also be re-released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
