With the Game Developer Conference this week, it seems like one of the main topics is virtual reality. Sony unveiled a new VR headset, called Project Morpheus, for its PS4 console. And Oculus Rift showed off a new and improved version of its upcoming PC headset.
As racing fans, you have to be wondering, how would this VR tech effect our favorite genre? What will future VR racing games be like? And can you play them without vomiting?
Some gamers are already investigating that. The video above shows a player from WeaselZone using theĀ Circuit Valencia F1 Demo by Nerdiacs with the Oculus Rift. The words “vomit inducing” are used, but it also looks like a lot of fun. Newer headsets are supposed to reduce the problem of “virtual reality sickness.”
If you can get your hands on an Oculus Rift, here is the demo.
