What does the multiplayer look like in GRIP Combat Racing? Surprisingly, there’s more than one answer. How many ways can you compete in GRIP?
Generally these days, a multiplayer mode in a racing game is your standard online match using eight to sixteen competing players. But you can do more than that in GRIP. It’s one of the few games to make split-screen play an option, so if you want something to play when your friends are in the room, dragging out Mario Kart 64 isn’t necessary.
You can also create your own tournaments by mixing and matching the modes in the game. And as far as the online mode goes, full lobby and matchmaking support are available for up to ten simultaneous players.
GRIP: Combat Racing offers players a unique competitive experience, testing their reflexes to the limit as they hurtle towards the finish line at over 767 mph. Those wishing to take their highly tuned skills into the PvP sphere can enjoy:
- Split-screen competitive play in both Race and Arena modes
- 10 Player online multiplayer with full lobby and matchmaking support
- Full tournament building support allowing racers to combine race modes and arenas from across GRIP’s galaxy to build bespoke playlists and competitions with friends
- Online leaderboards for Carkour and Race modes

GRIP Combat Racing will be out November 6 for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, XBox One and PC…but the PC version currently has a Steam Early Access variant that can be played today. Multiplayer functions have been added as of now.
