The official game of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) is returning for one more year with WRC 6 for the Playstation 4, XBox One and PC. All fourteen real WRC events are included, as well as all the real-world racers, cars and teams. New this year is a multiplayer split-screen mode that’ll allow for competitive play with two in the same room, which used to be standard with most games but is now a rare feature (thanks, Internet). You can see it in WRC 6’s new trailer below.
Another thing that doesn’t affect much yet’s worth mentioning anyway: the packaging for WRC 6 will be different depending on which region of the US you buy it from. California is getting a different package than Seattle, which is getting a different one than South Carolina, and so on. Only the obsessed will collect them all. No word on how online retailers like Amazon plan to handle this.
