When will WRC 8 go on sale? If you game on a PC or an XBox One, it’s available now. If you prefer the PS4, that version is coming tomorrow (September 10).
Developer Kylotonn used feedback from the last WRC eSports tournament, as well as comments from the community, to refine and improve this installment of World Rally Championship. WRC 8 boasts improved graphics over WRC 7, smoother pace notes, refined steering controls, a more in-depth career mode, and more.
WRC 8 uses the actual drivers from the real-world 2019 World Rally Championship, including six-time world champion Sébastien Ogier from Citroën Racing, Jari-Matti Latvala, Kris Meeke, and Ott Tänak. Racing legend Sébastien Loeb has also returned to the track, and he will be playable in the game too.
Over 100 special stages are packed into WRC 8, spanning 14 countries from across the globe. The new dynamic weather system adds unexpected twists to the turns, but you’ll have the ability to upgrade your car with options like a modified grip, car settings adjustments, and tire selection optimization. Being prepared for what Nature throws at you could mean the difference between victory and an eighth place finish.
WRC 8 is playable now on XBox One and PC, soon to be playable on PS4, and will complete the circle when it launches for Nintendo Switch in November.
