TT Isle Of Man Interviews Julien Toniutti
What awaits us in KT Racing’s TT2 Isle of Man, the sequel to the 2018 motorbike racer? Who knows the answer to that question? You might ask the man who’s experienced the real thing. (As in the real course, not the real game…though it’s actually both).
KT is enlisting the input of actual people who’ve raced on the real Isle of Man TT. Julien Toniutti, who has raced the Isle of Man three times, is contributing his experience to the game’s development. In 2018 he beat the all-time fastest lap record for a French rider on the Isle of Man circuit. Now he’s providing input for TT2, and KT Racing has published a video interview with him, which you can watch below.
“Competing in the TT is the ultimate dream of any rider,” he says. “In TT Isle Of Man – Ride on The Edge 2, the aim is to reproduce the sensation of speed and adrenaline, as well as the concentration and control required for any Tourist Trophy rider, while the player sits comfortably in their chair, risk free.”
Created in 1907, the Isle of Man TT is one of the world’s most iconic races for motorcyclists.
It is certainly the most demanding and difficult motorcycle race. The course snakes through the Isle of Man’s winding and narrow roads. Riders reach speeds of over 300 km/h, take off over bumps and scrape against low walls on a 60-km course with more than 250 bends to be memorised by heart: it’s a breathtaking challenge!
TT2 Isle of Man will be released March 2020 on consoles and PC.
