TT Isle Of Man 2 — Impressions From Davey Todd
Who is Davey Todd? And ho does he know so much about TT Isle Of Man 2 before its release?
KT Racing’s TT Isle of Man 2 is the sequel to the 2018 motorbike racer. This time, KT is enlisting the input of actual people who’ve raced on the real Isle of Man TT. Todd, for example, is a competitor from England who actually used the original TT Isle of Man game to become familiar with the actual track before he entered the race. Todd went on to become the second fastest newcomer of all time in the TT Isle of Man, and last year he finished in the top 8 in all categories and won 6th place in the Senior Race.
Naturally, someone who used the game to win would be an invaluable resource for the sequel….so KT hired him on. In the interview video below, Todd talks about the adjustments made to TT Isle Of Man 2 that make it more authentic to the real experience, like more accurate bike weight control, improved bike–rider synchronization, smoother and more natural steering, and the like.
Created in 1907, the Isle of Man TT is one of the world’s most iconic races for motorcyclists.
It is certainly the most demanding and difficult motorcycle race. The course snakes through the Isle of Man’s winding and narrow roads. Riders reach speeds of over 300 km/h, take off over bumps and scrape against low walls on a 60-km course with more than 250 bends to be memorised by heart: it’s a breathtaking challenge!
TT Isle of Man 2 will be released March 2020 on consoles and PC.
