The Crew Closed Beta Starts July 23

Ubisoft will be holding a closed PC beta for its open-world racer The Crew starting July 23.

A closed beta means not everyone will get in. You want to get an invite? Get registered soon.

You can sign up for the beta here at Ubisoft’s site. Yeah, you need Uplay. You always need Uplay.

The Crew features a persistent, miniaturized United States complete with many of the memorable landmarks to race through with your friends. Ubisoft has repeatedly said that The Crew is more of an MMORPG than straight driving game, and takes from that genre a focus on stats and teamwork.

The Crew is set to release on Nov. 11 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
