Looks like Ubisoft’s Racing MMORPG The Crew is getting a little brother.

The Crew, a game built to take advantage of the latest consoles and computer of 2014, is getting ported to the hottest tech of 2005, the humble Xbox 360. Ubisoft tells GameSpot this is the only last-gen console that will get this treatment.

“The Crew is originally built for the new generation of consoles, so when we made the decision to port it to the previous generation, we decided to focus solely on the platform closest to the new-gen’s technical infrastructure, which is the Xbox 360.”

“We are not currently working on a version for PS3 or Wii U and are focused on delivering The Crew for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Xbox 360 simultaneously on November 11.”

There was also this from Ubisoft marketing executive Tony Key, which must have caused PS3 and Wii U gamers to wince a bit. Sure, the PS3 has the difficult to develop for Cell processor, but the Wii U actually has more horsepower than the Xbox 360.

“It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,”  Key said. “The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

The Xbox 360 version is being developed by Asobo Studio with help from the main The Crew Development teams at Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Shanghai and will have the same Nov. 11 release date as the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions.
