Going gold means the game is ready to be printed and produced, so we should expect no delays to its Oct. 28th release date.

Insomniac Games’ new open-world shooter looks to be a caffeine-crazed explosion of color and ultra-violence, and soon we’ll find out if it lives up to the hype.

The game is exclusive to Xbox One. There is also a special edition white Xbox One Sunset Overdrive bundle lauching on the 28th for $399.
