Season 2 Of Wreckfest Begins Now

on

What have THQ Nordic and developer Bughear Entertainment been working on? Will their car combat racer Wreckfest live on for a second chaotic season?

Looks so. THQ has announced Season 2 of Wreckfest will begin immediately and last for the next six months. Expect more free tracks, challenges, rewards, and DLC car packs. Four are on the way, and will contain three cars each for a total of twelve additional vehicles. All Season 2 content will be covered by the ticket price of $12, but if you buy the second Season Pass during its first week on sale (starting today and lasting until September 22), you get 10% off the price.

For those who still have yet to own any version of Wreckfest, the Deluxe Edition of the game has now been replaced with the Complete Edition. The Wreckfest Complete Edition will cover both season 1 and 2 in its price ($49.99), which makes it the perfect one-step way to get into the game.

This month, expect these updates:

September Tournament Update – GETAWAY HEAT
Get the ROCKET RX in the new free September Tournament! The scene is a city downtown, with high-rise buildings around the player between which the streets zig-zag.

Free for all
All players get free new tracks with every DLC release. Also, a new tournament will launch every couple of weeks until the end of season 2.

Wreckfest is available for Playstation 4, XBox One and PC. Season 2 will deliver content until March 31, 2021.
