Rocket League Rockets To XBox In A Week

We now finally know exactly when Rocket League ceases to be a one-console game. The XBox will be getting its own version in one week, on February 17. Microsoft made the announcement today along with Psyonix and a dev team called Panic Button, which handled the conversion.

To make up for such a long wait, Psyonix will be throwing in three DLC packs all other players would have had to pay for. They are as follows:

  • “Supersonic Fury” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 5 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels
  • “Revenge of the Battle-Cars” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 3 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels, 4 Toppers, 2 Antennas
  • “Chaos Run” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 2 Wheels, 2 Rocket Trails, 3 Toppers, 3 Antennas

Also, as previously mentioned, Microsoft players will be getting some exclusive car models related to XBox-exclusive properties, such as Sunset Overdrive, Halo and Gears of War. The only downside is that due to Microsoft’s stricter policies, cross-platform online play is not possible on the XBox version. We’re sure there will be plenty of XBox users to play against, but keep this in mind.

It all starts February 17!
