Would you believe it took this long for the Batmobile to show up in Rocket League? Developer Psyonix has teamed up with DC to produce a new DLC pack showcasing the Justice League’s most impressive vehicles. What do you get?
For cars, you get two specific ones from Batman movies: the 1989 Batmobile from the original Tim Burton Batman, and the front-wheeled Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. You also receive these themed items:
- Aquaman – Breakout Decal and Player Banner
- Batman – Paladin Decal and Player Banner
- Cyborg – Roadhog Decal and Player Banner
- DC – Player Banner (previously released in Collector’s Edition)
- Flash – Wheels, Venom Decal, Player Banner, and Speed Force Boost (Wheels and Player Banner previously released in Collector’s Edition)
- Green Arrow – Hotshot Decal and Player Banner
- Green Lantern – Merc Decal and Player Banner
- Superman – Octane Decal and Player Banner
- Wonder Woman – Wheels, X-Devil Decal, and Player Banner
But it’s all about the ’89 Batmobile, and the good news is, it’s cheap at $3.99. You’ll be able to add this Bat-stuff to Rocket League beginning March 5, on all platforms.
Useless Trivia Paragraph: The term “Super Heroes,” when written as two words, is filed under joint copyright by both DC and Marvel. “Superheroes,” on the other hand, is a word that can be used by any company. Rather pointless, but there it is.
