Slightly Mad Studios shows off its creepy side with this new trailer, just in time for Halloween.
“The Green Hell” referred to in the trailer is the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Nürburg, Germany, a one time very dangerous F1 track. It was handed the sinister nickname by legendary F1 driver Jackie Stewart after an especially harrowing race there in 1968 and drivers actually boycotted it in 1970, causing the German Grand Prix to be moved to Hockenheimring.
It should make for some very intense virtual racing, especially if this means the game will recreate the historical conditions before the track was made safer.
Slightly Mad has moved the game’s launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC back from Nov. 18 until March 17, 2015 in North America. The game moves from Nov. 21 until March 20 in Europe.
Wii U and Steam OS versions of the game had already been delayed until some time in 2015. No concrete date for those releases has been announced.
