Pre-Orders For Horizon Chase Turbo Available On XBox One

Game studio Aquiris’ arcade racer Horizon Chase Turbo has been a hit since it launched for PC and Playstation 4 last May…how will it perform on other systems? The game will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Microsoft XBox in just one week. Is there any additional content in the new versions?

Horizon Chase Turbo utilizes a deliciously retro aesthetic, rendering the flat 2D look of 16-bit races in full 3D. Long roads with bright grassy sides tapered off by candy-colored bumpers are the rule of the day here. There are campaign, tournament and endurance modes, plenty of things to unlock, chiptune-styled music and even a split-screen multiplayer mode (remember those?)

Both the XBox One and Switch versions will contain exclusive content not found in the PS4 and PC versions: a new mode called “Playground” The XBox One version will also contain six additional car skins. Plus the regular features of Horizon Chase Turbo, which include these:

• Thrilling arcade racing game, inspired by Outrun, Top Gear, Lotus Turbo Challenge, and others

• Amazing old-style split-screen multiplayer up to 4 players

• Music by Barry Leitch, Sound Designer in 90s racing classics such as Top Gear and Lotus Turbo Challenge, among others

• 12 Cups, 48 Cities, 109 tracks, 32 Unlockable Cars, and 12 Upgrades

• 4 Game Modes: World Tour, Playground, Tournament, and Endurance.

• Challenge your friends in the Ghost Mode and in the Leaderboards.
