Electronic Arts announced today its Need For Speed reboot would finally be coming to the PC platform next month, around St. Patrick’s Day. They’ll be delivering the game one week earlier for members of Origin, on March 10, but then you have to buy it from Origin (no thanks).
Some additions will make their debuts in the PC version, such as the option of manual transmission — this feature will also be patched into the console versions at a later date. The PC version will also, of course, sport the best graphics of any version and it will come with steering wheel support.
Originally the PC version of Need For Speed was going to launch alongside the console versions, but EA delayed it until 2016 for reasons of improving “visual performance.” EA now has a new trailer out hyping the impending PC release…..
