Old School Racing Games Part Of EA Online Purge

EA [Electronic Arts] will cease supplying online services for 50 game titles next month after their online hosted services contractor – GameSpy – closed up shop. Some of the those titles included racing games, though all of them are older. The full list is below…

 F1 2002 for PC
 MySims Racing for Nintendo DS
 NASCAR Sim Racing for PC
 NASCAR Thunder 2003 for PC
 NASCAR Thunder 2004 for PC
 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for PC
 Need for Speed: ProStreet for Nintendo DS
 Need for Speed: Undercover for Nintendo DS


EA online services for all the games listed above will end after June 30, 2014.
