Leaked Red Dead Redemption 2 Map May Be Real
Last week, a mysterious map was posted on a NeoGAF thread that seemed to be a blueprint for a Red Dead Redemption sequel. The map used some familiar areas while adding some new ones. Then the map disappeared as soon as it was put up, with the explanation “been asked to take it down sorry folks.” Too late — the Internet noticed it.
The website TechRadar showed the map to an unidentified Rockstar insider, who confirmed that yes, it’s a real map and yes, Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently in development. According to the source, the game is going to be a prequel, which is why it takes place further east than the first game, and why there is no railroad present.
Rockstar has not technically released a major game in three years; a new RDR would really hit the spot. Let’s hope this is true!
