Psyonix has announced two new vehicles coming to Rocket League, though “new” is relative in this case. Before the developer created Rocket League, they introduced a different game called “Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars.” These two new cars, Aftershock and Marauder, are directly from that game.
So how do you get them? You don’t….yet. Aftershock and Maurauder are part of the exclusive content DLC that will come with the Rocket League Collector’s Edition, Psyonix’s name for the physical release of their game. The Collector’s Edition makes a great jumping-on point for any Rocket League beginner: it packs in the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run expansions, as well as an “exclusive” art print and four new cars, two of which are Aftershock and Marauder.
After the exclusivity period ends in a month, Aftershock and Maurader will be available as regular DLC for anyone, at the price of $2.
You may not be able to use these cars yet, but you can look at them. Here’s the official trailer….
