Who’s psyched for the best racing game of 2008 to see rerelease? Burnout Paradise Remastered comes out this Friday, but did you know there’s a way to play it today?
Whether you can or not, though, depends on certain conditions. The first of these is that you’ll have to be interested in the XBox One version of the game (you’ll also need an XBox One). The other condition is that you must be a subscriber to EA’s preferred customer program EA Access. The program is targeted at the hardcore fans of EA’s products and offers a 10% discount on all digital purchases. And as of right now, it grants early access to Burnout Paradise.
But why just the XBox One version? We’re not sure, but…that’s the way it is. It’s on a “Play First Trial” that lets people download and play the game for up to 10 hours before release. All progress made during those 10 hours will remain once the game becomes fully accessible. The download is just 7.66 GB and contains the original game as well as its eight expansions, dressed up with 60 FPS and 4K support on PS4 Pro and XBox One X, as well as upgraded textures. It will be $40 this Friday.
