How much game is in this game? Project Cars developer Slightly Mad Studios revealed the full list of courses and locations today. You can read an exhaustive list of sixty tracks, with pictures for each, at the Project Cars website.
As Bugs Bunny would say, “Long, ain’t it?” A whopping 110 courses and thirty locations will be in the game, and many of them will be based on real tracks that exist. Caldwell Park in the UK, Greenwood from Scotland, Sakitto from Japan, Summerton from the UK, Circuit De Spa from Belgium, and Sonoma Raceway from the US are all approximated and emulated with polygons. There’s even a track from the Czech Republic.
The game gets to 110 because there are several different modifications for each location, for example, Sonoma has 3 different layouts.
Project Cars is weeks away from release and will be hitting PC, Playstation 4 and XBox One on May 8. There will also be a Wii U version eventually, probably published around the time everybody has moved on to the next racing game.
