GRiD Autosport Releases Today On Android
How many modern game-playing machines have their own version of GRiD Autosport? As of today, all of them! But can your Android run the version released today?
There are versions of GRiD Autosport for all consoles, iPhones and iPads, but it never covered the entire mobile marketplace until now. GRiD launched today on Google Play as a paid app (meaning there will be no pesky in-app purchases — you own the whole dang game).
GRID Autosport thrusts players into a high-speed career as a pro-racer, challenging them to compete in the world’s most exciting cars on motorsport’s most challenging circuits across five different racing styles. Engineered with intuitive tilt and touch inputs, GRID Autosport delivers an irresistible mix of simulation and arcade handling. Its best-in-class controls allow players to use their screen as a steering wheel, and the touch-screen interface to control their speed.
Android is the OS of nearly every mobile phone that isn’t manufactured by Apple, but not all Android phones will run GRiD Autosport. If your model of phone is on this list, you’re in the clear:
- Google Pixel 2
- Google Pixel 2 XL
- Google Pixel 3
- Google Pixel 3 XL
- Google Pixel 4
- Google Pixel 4 XL
- HTC U12+
- Huawei Honor 10
- Huawei Mate 20
- LG V30+
- Motorola Moto Z2 Force
- Nokia 8
- OnePlus 5T
- OnePlus 6T
- Razer Phone
- Samsung Galaxy S8
- Samsung Galaxy Note8
- Samsung Galaxy S9
- Samsung Galaxy Note9
- Samsung Galaxy S10
- Samsung Galaxy S10+
- Samsung Galaxy S10e
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
- Sony Xperia XZ1
- Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact
- Xiaomi Pocophone F1
If your phone isn’t listed there, you’re taking a gamble. Some older phones may be blocked from purchasing the game, but others may be cleared to buy it yet find it doesn’t work. Then you’re $10 in the hole — so much for that fancy McDonalds breakfast. Fair warning.
Look for GRiD Autosport on Google Play starting today, November 26.
