Grand Theft Auto V Delayed For PC, System Requirements and Screens Released
You’ll have to wait a little longer for your hi-res, first-person GTA V action on PC, but not too much longer. The game has been delayed from Jan. 27 until March 24.
“Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March,” Rockstar Games wrote in an announcement.
Rockstar also shared some screens from the PC version, which look amazing. We’ve included the shots in a gallery below.
According to Rockstar the game runs at “1080p and 60fps with up to 4K resolution and support for up to triple monitor configurations, as well as NVidia 3D Vision for up to triple monitor setups.” This on top of PC-exclusive video editing tools makes the PC version the best place to play if you want the most technically sophisticated experience.
Rockstar also released a first look at the system requirements for the PC version. To run this puppy, you’ll need:
