Last year, Microsoft offered a preorder bonus to those who reserved their copies of Forza Horizon 2: four unique cars that couldn’t be downloaded any other way. Until now.
This list of cars included the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP-570-4 Superleggera, the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe, the 2008 Ferrari California, and the 2013 Audi RS 4 Avant. Now they are all free to download — though not exactly “free” in the monetary sense. The rest of us will have to pay $4 to get the cars, but it’s four bucks well spent for practicing wise consumer choices, such as not falling for preorder DLC for games yet to be evaluated by critics.
The Forza Horizon 2 Preorder Cars are now available for XBox One. There is no XBox 360 version, but there never was: though the game came out for the last-gen console, Microsoft did not offer any of the DLC the XBone version sported.
