Observe the GTA V Force Feedback Chair, developed by engineering outfit Force Dynamics. In the video below, an employee attempts to drive a car around in the game, which tuns into a ride out of an amusement part. Then he tries making that literal by riding Los Santos’ roller coaster, and things REALLY get wild.
The engineers at said company made this rig to demonstate the 401CR, the newest model of their force feedback chair. It’s described by Force Dynamics as “a motion platform that tilts and rotates to simulate the experience of being in a car, plane, or pretty much any other vehicle. It comes ready-to-go, with an on-board computer, monitors, a 900 watt surround sound system, and the most powerful force feedback wheel in the business.”
Shakey chairs are a specialty product and FD only makes them via special individual order — meaning prices are not listed on their website and we can’t tell you how much this kind of a rig would cost you. That is a conversation you’ll have to have with them.
