Driveclub’s Free Apology DLC Includes $3.4 Million W Motors Lykan HyperSport
Driveclub is giving its first premium DLC pack, the Ignition Pack, away free as an apology for a launch that was so plagued with server problems that players couldn’t even get online to use the multiplayer.
Evolution Studios posted a preview of the DLC for the PS4 racer to its Facebook page, which you can see below. The DLC includes five cars, the Caterham SP/300.R, the BMW M4, the KTM X-Bow R, the Renault Twin’Run, and star of the show, the W Motors Lykan HyperSport.
The W Motors Lykan HyperSport stands out as a symbol of absurd excess. Unless you are a multi-billionaire, you’ll never get to ride this baby in real life. It’s limited to a production run of seven units, for one. It costs $3.4 million and its front headlights are made up of titanium LED blades embedded with 420 diamonds. More practically, it’s got a top speed of 245 MPH and can go from 0 to 62 MPH in 2.8 seconds.
The pack also includes 11 new tour events and five new trophies. It will be available as a free download this week on the PlayStation Store.
