You’ll be able to check out The Crew a couple of days earlier than expected. Ubisoft announced today it is moving the start date of its MMORPG racer’s closed PC beta from July 23 to July 21.
The beta will run from the July 21 through July 25. Signups for invites still seem to be available here.
Ubisoft also spilled on what missions and challenges will be available in the beta:
For the purposes of this Closed Beta, we will have missions and skill challenges available only in the Midwest and challenges in the East Coast. The final game will, of course, have missions and skill challenges throughout the entire U.S. map!
You will also have access to two PvP lobbies, one in the Midwest and the other on the East Coast, where several races will be waiting for you to prove your skills against other players!
Other areas of the U.S. will be available in the game in free roam mode.
Two car specs will be available in the beta, the Street and Dirt specs. Three more, Perf, Raid and Circuit will be in the final game. The announcement promises a “glimpse” of them during the beta.
Another opportunity to play The Crew earlier will be at San Diego Comic-Con, from July 23 – 27. The Crew will be among the games players can check out at Ubisoft’s booth at the show.
The Crew will be out Nov. 11 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
