Last year the classic car-combat game Carmageddon was given a surprise resurrection on the PC with the appropriately-named Carmageddon: Resurrection. The comeback must have done well, because we’re barely into the following year and already hearing about a sequel.
Carmageddon: Max Damage is its name, and it will make its debut on PC later this year, as well as Playstation 4 and XBox One. If you were one of the folks who bought it for PC, you’ll actually receive this sequel free of charge. Yay for free stuff!
Gameplay looks to be much the same as the previous Carmageddon (and all other games in the series). Features include a career mode (the career of a homicidal maniac; okay), a repair system and, of course, an online multiplayer mode.
There is no current release date for Carmageddon: Max Damage, but it was just announced. Expect it later in 2016.
