Assetto Corsa Competizione Is Out Today For Consoles

Got a PS4? For lack of that, got an XBox One? Then you can play 505 Games’ Assetto Corsa Competizione, starting today.

Developed by KUNOS Simulazioni, Assetto Corsa Competizione was originally released in 2018 for PCs via Steam. The racer is a simulation of the Blancpain GT series and recreates its tracks to a ridiculous degree of accuracy — they actually scanned the real tracks with lasers to get accurate measurements. The game features a dynamic weather system, Career, Championship and Free Play modes, and an online matchmaking feature that groups together racers of similar skill.

If you’re wondering if the console version of Assetto Corsa Competizione will get the same DLC content as its PC counterpart, the answer is yes. The Intercontinental GT Pack, which just came out on PC, will arrive on PS4 and XBox One in one month. If you preordered the game, you’ll be granted early access to it right now.

The Intercontinental GT Pack for Assetto Corsa Competizione introduces four international circuits – Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit (South Africa), Suzuka Circuit (Japan), Weathertech®️ Raceway Laguna Seca(United States) and Mount Panorama Circuit (New South Wales Australia). The expansion also adds more than 45 new car liveries, 30 new teams and 50 new drivers along with all-new game modes from the real-life Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli.

And more is on the way: in the coming months, look out for the GT4 Pack DLC, which adds over ten cars, and the British Pack DLC, with adds three circuits to complete the 7-race calendar of the British GT Championship.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is available now for PC, Playstation 4 and XBox One.
