We’re obsessed with Project CARS to real-life comparisons, especially when Slightly Mad Studios crowd-funded racer comes off looking so good by comparison.
The latest comparison pits a virtual Project CARS experience up against a real-life driver running a lap in the Formula Gulf 1000 at Dubai Autodrome.
Unfortunately, Project CARS doesn’t stack up quite as good in night driving as it does in the day. Real life is shinier and has more lighting sources and less flat lighting. But it’s impressive that it even gets this close.
Project CARS will be out March 17 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s also coming to the Wii U and SteamOS some time in 2015.
