New Season Of Heavy Metal Machines Begins Today
What happens next in the apocalyptic car-combat MOBA known as Heavy Metal Machines? Players will find out starting today when “Bellie Storm,” the new season of content in the Metal Pass, launches. What does the new content bring?
Over 90 rewards can now be found in the game, including portraits, video effects, sprays, skins, and Zoomorphs — that last one is a new race of competitors to deal with. Also watch out for this new pug-like character who calls himself “General Peacemaker,” rides a War Tank and commands German Shepherds.
There’s more news: the finals of the current Metal League Tournament are upon us, and will be broadcast live on Ginx TV this coming Friday, April 26. It’s obviously too late to enter that tournament, but the second season will launch a day before then (AKA tomorrow) and anyone will be able to enter, including you and possibly your grandmother if she games.
“With the Metal League finals upon us, we are thrilled to be announcing not only a new season of content for players but building on Heavy Metal Machines’ eSports credentials,” says Tatiana Moreira, head of Marketing and Publishing at Hoplin, makers of the game. “With Heavy Metal Machines we feel there is a playstyle for each individual, so there really is something for everyone. Our tournaments are open to all, no matter their skill level, so there’s no excuse not to just invite your friends and team up, to take on the competition. With real world money on the line, we’re expecting the competition to be fierce, so we’ve laid down the challenge to our players – start your engines and join the arenas of Metal City.”
