NASCAR Heat 4 Launch Trailer
Has NASCAR Heat 4 launched? Not exactly…we still have a few days left ’til then. But what’s the Launch Trailer look like?
“NASCAR Heat 4 will be the best NASCAR console game we’ve released to date,” said Colin Smith, president of 704Games. “Over the years, NASCAR video games have built a large and passionate fan base, and when developing this game we made sure many of their voices were heard. We have incorporated a number of features and improvements recommended by the NASCAR Heat community, and we look forward to delivering a better game to fans in September. And we’re thrilled to have two legends of the sport on the cover.”
He’s talking about Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart, who both appear on the NASCAR Heat 4 boxart. Harvick won his first Cup title in just his first season with Stewart-Haas racing, and Stewart has won three Cup titles so far — one of just nine people to do so.
There will be a different box with NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon on it. The Gold Edition exclusively features a playable version of Gordon — you can race as him, use him as your spotter, and gain access to his Axalta paint scheme from Homestead-Miami Speedway. NASCAR Heat 4 Gold Edition includes the Season Pass, costs about 20 bucks more than the standard game ($69.99 vs $49.99), and only 20,000 copies will be sold.
New features in every version of Heat 4 include a total of 38 tracks, a deeper career mode that will let you manage your own team of racers, the ability to start in any of the four series in the game, and the addition of Stewart’s own team, Smoke Racing, alongside his No. 14 car.
NASCAR Heat 4 will be out for Playstation 4, XBox One and PC September 13.
