Microsoft Announces Forza Street
When will Microsoft announce the next Forza game? How about now? Well, when will it come out? How about also now?
“Wait a minute….you’re telling me the next Forza was announced and published in just one day, without warning?” Sure….well, technically. If you haven’t already guessed, Forza Street is not a mainline Forza title. In fact, Turn 10 Studios previously published it for Windows PC under the title “Miami Street,” but it didn’t attract enough attention without the Forza name.
Tuen 10 probably did not initially call it “Forza” because it’s intended for a casual audience, not the kind Forza usually attracts. Forza Street is simplified to the point that steering isn’t part of the gameplay. Instead it’s a game of timing where gas, brake and boost must be applied at the correct times to zoom ahead of the pack. It’s not much, but it’s free.
